"I am the property manager for a local group that specializes in low income options for displaced families. We have had Greg and his company, Day One do all of our re-furbishing for our clients. We are very happy with what he has done for the past 9 years. We don't have a lot of money, so it's important to get it right at first try. We tell him what we can spend and he tells us what we can get for that money. Or he steers us away from something and works on a different project that brings us more return. "It is so nice to know that there are companies out there that know what they are doing when working on older stuff. Alot of projects over the years had to be re-done over and over due to shoddy work and or materials used. I finally found the right people for us. We live in an older 1700's and part 1800's house. They exposed old beams in ceilings and walls that we had no idea about. They repaired the old plaster walls and such, as well as repairing our old hardwood floors. They used wood from the closets to make repairs that you could not tell were made, with the same material from the 1800's. Our house was repaired like it was 150 years ago, but at the same time looks new but done perfectly like back when. I think they call that Period Restoration.. Thanks so much.."
